Who Won Race To Survive Alaska 2023?

Oliver and Wilson won the Race to Survive Alaska 2023. They were the first team to complete the final race and reach the last medallion.

The duo was one of two sets of siblings on the USA Network's survival show -the other being adventuring enthusiasts and one of the final teams, Cason and Bella Crane.

The Alaskan brother, Oliver, 25, and Wilson Hoogendorn, 23, took home a whopping half-million-dollar prize home and were on cloud nine.

Hoogendorn siblings are Inupiaq from Nome, Alaska, known for their feats of endurance and wilderness skills. Wilson is a gold diver, spending six hours a day underwater.

His older brother, Oliver is a commercial fisherman. The duo works together -they hunt moose, whales, and seals, using traditional techniques, tools, and weapons made from wood and ivory.

They surely value the land that sustains them, which is evident from their actions and survival skills.

They were the first Alaskan natives to summit Denali in just 13 days. They conquered the highest peak in North America with just $2,000, while it takes at least $15,000 for most people.

They shared about how they saved money and admitted to not having enough. Due to this, they didn't take a guide and did it by themselves.

Hoogendorn brothers also appeared on KTVA News to share their Denali experience in 2019.

Their undying passion for the mountains was inspired by Jeff Collins, their cross-country coach, who invited them for an exciting run outside Nome.

And now, after winning the first season of Race to Survive: Alaska, the Alaskan brothers added yet another victorious record in their adventurous history.

Following the popularity of the show, it will probably return for the second season. It has a lot of viewers and networks are less likely to cancel such popular shows only after one season.

Most of the time programs are canceled for financial reasons. Low viewership will lead to low advertising and subscription revenue, prompting any networks to replace it with another show.

Other potential reasons for canceling include unfavorable critical reviews, conflicts among the show's cast members, and controversies involving the show's cast.

Well, USA Network's Race to Survive: Alaska has not been involved in such cases. So, there is a high possibility the show will return for the second season.
