The NFL Media and NBC Sports Washington announced that the rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. was shot multiple times as the target of an attempted robbery the day after sitting out the Commanders' preseason finale in hopes of playing a significant role this regular season.
Robinson, a third-round draft pick this spring out of Alabama, is in stable condition with non-life-threatening wounds during a suspected carjacking attempt, according to ESPN.
Robinson suffered non-life-threatening wounds after being shot twice in Washington, D.C., just before six o'clock in the evening, according to authorities. Two young suspects are the subject of a police search. There are currently no known specifics about Robinson's health or the suspected carjacking.
Just after the news of the shooting broke out, people on the Internet were concerned about his health condition. Many started making different kinds of negative assumptions, all of which have turned out be false.

Talking about his exceptional career, As a backup behind Najee Harris and Josh Jacobs in Alabama's 2018 CFP National Championship Game victory, Robinson ran for 165 yards and two scores as a rookie. In his second season, he accumulated 272 yards and two touchdowns on 63 carries.
Robinson ran for 441 yards and five touchdowns on 96 carry as a junior. He also caught 11 receptions for 124 yards. After rushing for 204 yards in the Cotton Bowl Classic, a school record for a bowl game, he was also voted the game's most valuable player.

Is Brian Robinson Still In Hospital?
Fox Sports writes, "Prayers up for Brian Robinson The Commander's rookie RB is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot multiple times in a possible robbery attempt."
Even though the injuries are non-life-threatening, his lower body is struck with at least two bullets. The procedure to get them out is going on, and Brian Robinson is still in the hospital for that.
All of it happened during an attempted robbery. CBS News says that his future in the field cannot be stated now. It is extremely bad news for football fans, especially people rooting for the newbie. Hopefully, he will recover soon and get back to the ground stronger.
