Faulkner is the co-founder of the ELEVATE Women's Empowerment Brunch. It is connections, cuisine, and conversations for real women and life. Also, she is an alert desk and co-host for the Wis Sunrise weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m. She lands at noon three days a week. 


Who Is Intisar Faulkner From WISTV? 

Faulkner is the host of Wis News 10 and started her career in radio for KTS News. In Springfield, MO, the anchor began her news as an anchor on the radio. During her role in the news channel, she received Missouri Broadcasters Association Awards for two works.

She won awards for "Best News Series" and "Breaking News Weather Coverage." In Meridian, MS, Faulkner joined WTOK-TV as the anchor in 2019. She emerged on the station's morning show as executive producer in Good Morning Meridian. After Covid-19, she became the host and producer of the show, On The Record.

In 2021, Faulkner produced and hosted the first-ever Black History Month Special at WTOK. Besides anchoring, she had a passion for dancing. She was part of studio competitions for 18 years. Afterward, the anchor became a member of the MSU Sugar Bears Dance Team. Her college team competes at The UDA National Championships annually in Orlando, FL. 

The group had placed in the top 10 in every year division. In WTOK, she was honored first place at the city's annual competition Dancing Like The Stars. The challenge raised money for domestic violence abuse victims.

Joe Gorchow, a renowned reporter at WIS-TV, has decided to quit WIS after serving around 10.5 years.

Faulkner was born in Fort Worth, Texas. However, she had raised by her parents in St. Louis, MO. The anchor joined Missouri State University and completed her Broadcast Journalism & Political Science degree. Even she grabbed Masters's in Communications degree.  

Stephen Spates, an Assistant Professor of Communication, Congratulated his advisee Faulkner on officially completing the MA program in 2019. She focused on the need for Black professor-Black student relationships at PWI institutions. 

After her graduation, she achieved success in broadcasting. Beyond this, she is the co-founder of a networking event geared towards young female professionals, ELEVATE Women's Empowerment Brunch. Besides this, the anchor is a National Association of Black Journalists member.

How Old Is Intisar Faulkner's Husband?

Faulkner is a young anchor who is not yet married. She had no husaband as per her socail sites. In anchor spare time, she spent her time traveling and watching movies. Even she loved DIY craft projects and exploring new restaurants. 

Faulkner was born to a Texan father and a Tanzanian mother. She was grown up in diverse cuisine. In 2021, Intisar Faulkner & Nicholas Brooks received a standing ovation. They took home 1st place on March weekend in Dancing For A Cause.

In 2021, Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Dominic Brown CBS 11 welcomed one of their newest anchors, Intisar. They had a great time working together. In June 2020, during week's episode of On The Record, Newscenter 11's, Faulkner spoke about history, culture, art, and cuisine in celebration of Juneteenth.

On July 25, 2019, WTOK-TV said she is their new Good Morning Meridian Anchor/Reporter. Lindsey Hall posted the interview set with Faulkner on Wednesday's Live at 5. In 2020, the anchor donated back-to-school supplies for LCSD students.
