In March 2022, the ABC show Chase announced the returning player's list and James Holzhauer was one in the returning cast as well. Find more about the Jeopardy champion who literally broke the game.

James Holzhauer (born July 23, 1984) is an American game show contestant and professional sports gambler.

Holzhauer won $2,464,216 in his 33 appearances, making him the second-highest winner in Jeopardy regularly (nontournament) winnings (behind only Ken Jennings, who won $2,522,700 in 2004) and, at the time, second in a number of games won (again behind only Jennings) although he has since been surpassed by Matt Amodio (38 games) and Amy Schneider. He is the third highest-earning American game show contestant of all time and is best known for his 32game winning streak as champion on the quiz show Jeopardy from April to June 2019, during which he set multiple single-game records for winnings, and for winning the following Tournament of Champions that November.

His $250,000 top prize in the Tournament of Champions and $250,000 runner-up prize in the Greatest of All Time Tournament brought his total to $2,964,216, making him still the third-highest winning Jeopardy! contestant, behind Jennings and Brad Rutter. Holzhauer also set the single-game winnings record at $131,127. Based on his success on Jeopardy, he has been nicknamed "Jeopardy James".

In-game show quiz Chase and James played and the player used the hidden button to select multiple alternative answers. Holzhauer reached the final and was added to the prize pool with 5 correct answers and 1 wrong score. Label scored a perfect five points, but Holsauer had already scored the points needed to win the round, so his final answer has not been revealed.

In the Final Chase Round (as a team leader with two other contestants), Holsauer's team defeated Lavette 26-9, gaining a $ 58,333.33 share of the $ 175,000 team prize pool. By answering his team's 19 questions correctly, he set a record for the final chase like never before. Originally premiered in the United States on the Game Show Network in 2013, Chase is virtually unlikely to experience repetitive situations. In those early days, Brooke Burns joined  Brad Rutter and Mark Labbett as presenters.

James Holzhauer's Recent Works-Is He Still On The Chase 2022?

Holzhauer appeared on the American quiz show The Chase on September 2, 2014, and was produced internationally by  ITV Studios. In his first round, a one-minute round called  Cash Builder, he correctly answered 12 of the 13 questions posed by host Brooke Burns. The last question was asked shortly before the deadline and was immediately forwarded by Holzhauer.

His score set a cash builder record that was never exceeded during the show. In the second round, he played against Mark Lavette and asked if he would proceed to the final round to add money to the team's prize pool. Holzhauer was able to choose from three amounts: $ 60,000 based on the CashBuilder score, and $ 30,000 to reduce the difficulty of the round. And $ 120,000, which will increase the difficulty. He decided to gamble for $ 60,000.
