Where Is Brian Anderson, Rays Announcer?
Brian Anderson is on the Rays TV team as a color commentator. This show airs on Bally Sports Sun.
He had teamed with announcer Dewayne Staats as a color analyst for the Rays television on a ten-game West Coast. In the 2008 and 2009 seasons, the commentator worked in Ray's front office. He also worked as an assistant pitching coach. When Magrane's replacement, Kevin Kennedy, was unavailable, he returned to The Rays as a part-time Tv analyst in 2009 and 2010, calling about 50 games.

What Happened To Brian Anderson?
In 2007 the former athlete suffered an injury. After his injury, he hosted a weekly highlights program and filled in as an Indians broadcaster on Sports Time Ohio.
The baseball player's 2005 season ended prematurely since his elbow ligament was torn up. Due to this injury, the former athlete needed Tommy John surgery. Brian attempted a comeback with the Texas Rangers in 2006. The commentator had to undergo the second Tommy John surgery as he re-injured it during his rehab program.
During his recovery stage, he was a fill-in broadcaster for the Cleveland Indians in 2007. The Tampa Bay Rays signed the former athlete to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training on February 1, 2008. However, he left in the middle of a game and had his MRI done. His MRI report revealed that the commentator had a torn ulnar collateral ligament. This time he was injured for the third time. He, too, had a torn flexor mass muscle. Both of the injuries were in his left elbow.
