On March 10, 2019, the famous actor made his first public appearance in a wheelchair at London's St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel to promote Universal Orlando's Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike ride.
"Robbie has been in continual pain for years, with his knee constantly deteriorating," a source added.
It's rendered him unable to walk without assistance, and he's been confined to a wheelchair as he awaits a rare medical treatment to fix his joint in America.
On March 10, 2019, he was pushed in and out of the Harry Potter event, which surprised spectators because they're used to seeing him standing tall and proud as Hagrid.
