Joey DeFrancesco Wife Gloria DeFrancesco

Joey DeFrancesco is survived by his wife, Gloria DeFrancesco. She is a musician herself but, most importantly, his manager. Every time media wanted to contact Mr. DeFrancesco, they had to first deal with Mrs. DeFrancesco.

The couple got married on July 24, 2011. On the occasion of their 10-year anniversary last year, he put out a lovely post for her that said, " I'm so blessed to know and be with this incredible woman! She's amazing in every way! Celebrating ten years of life is more than good; it's great.

In 2019, Philadelphia weekly interviewed both Joey and Gloria regarding their further plans.

It is an extremely difficult time for the family, hence the condolence messages do not forget the instrumentalist's better half.

Born in 1971 in Springfield, Pennsylvania, three generations of jazz musicians were present in his musically inclined family when he was born. He was given the name Joseph DeFrancesco in honor of his grandpa, a jazz musician who played the clarinet and saxophone.

His father, "Papa" John DeFrancesco, was a jazz organist who performed all over the country and was given the Living Legend Award by the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in 2013. DeFrancesco started playing the organ at the age of 4, and by the time he was five, he could perform songs by Jimmy Smith word for word.

From the age of 5, his father, John, started taking him to concerts and letting him watch sets.
