Todd Kochutin's death cause was an accident that happened in the deadliest catch show, during an expenditure on catching crabs. 

On the F/V Patricia Lee, he was involved in a fatal accident and died later in the hospital from his injuries.

When Mellon Lee suffered a knee injury last year during the 2020 OP season, Todd was the man to step in.

Unfortunately, Maylon died in August of 2020.

Todd, a 90-pound wet stir crab catcher and twice as hard as Maylon, could be considered one of the inferior fishermen.

He claimed the young fisherman died while catching crabs.

Someone on Twitter leaked the video of his accident, but nothing appears to be missing as of now.

The final episode of Deadliest Catch ended with a tribute to late cast member Todd Kochutin, who died unexpectedly at the start of this year.

On February 26, 2021, the Alaska Crab Fisherman who was on Deadliest Catch season 16 was reported to have died at the age of 30.

Though Todd's death was not publicly announced until now, Twitter has been flooded with photos of him since the news broke.

Todd was the player who stepped in to replace Maylon Lee when he suffered a knee injury during the 2020 Ops season. Sadly, Maylon passed away in August of 2020.

Todd Kochutin was, indeed, a fisherman who died in a boating accident while catching crabs.

Todd Kochutin is the son of Robert Olsen and Deanna Cochutin and was born in Anchorage, Alaska.

Todd was an avid fisherman who kept people entertained with his sense of humor.

He spent the majority of his life in the Bering Sea, fishing for king crab, opilio, Pacific cod, and pollock. The Bering Sea had always held a special place in his heart.

Todd was a former Dock Worker at Trident Seafoods and also worked as a deckhand on the F/V Voyager, according to his Facebook page.
