Trixie Mattel Brother Dan Firkus and Family Life

Trixie Mattel brother Dan Firkus is an amazing father, husband and sibling. He currently lives with his family in Amery, 

Brian and Dan are very close and Dan has always been quite supportive of his brother. Recently, Trixie shared a sweet story involving her brother which led the Internet to praise Dan and rightly so.

In an episode of 'I Like To Watch', Trixie revealed that her brother was extremely supportive of her when she came out to him while on a truck.

As mentioned earlier, in 2019, Trixie shared a picture of his brother on Instagram, captioning it, "He is my brother's real driver's license photo." In the photo, Dan is wearing a strainer bowl on his head, which is why the viewers find the picture funny.

Dan and Brian lived through a tough childhood with an abusive stepfather. Brian has revealed on several occasions that his stepfather hit him and even threatened him once with a loaded gun. However, the family has since moved on as his stepfather soon passed away from alcoholism.

Brian was different from his elder brother Dan from the day he was born on August 23, 1989. Despite his masculine appearance, he had a feminine face and liked playing with Barbie dolls. Eventually, he realized his passion for performing drag would later lead him to win RuPaul's Drag Race.

Trixie Mattel mother Valerie Osten-Zlomaniec, recently appeared on her YouTube channel. Despite having a complicated relationship, Trixie revealed that they have both moved on and there is nothing but love for each other.

Her mother remains fairly active on Facebook, sharing occasional pictures and posts.

Brian Firkus was raised in a small family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Even though it was not a perfect childhood, he now remembers the town with fond memories.

He recently revealed that he likes returning to his hometown for performances. He has two half-sisters, both of whom remain close to him.

His sisters Samantha Ann Zlomaniec and Desiree Zlomaniec, frequently appear on his social media.

His stepfather passed away from alcoholism and is no longer present in their lives.

On May 1, 2019, Mattel announced her makeup line, Trixie Cosmetics. It was released later that month and available at RuPaul's DragCon LA on May 24, 2019. 

Mattel previously entered the beauty market in 2018 with her Oh, Honey! collaboration with indie makeup company Sugarpill Cosmetics.

Trixie Cosmetics released "Red Scare," a collaborative collection with Zamolodchikova, in 2020. Mattel stated in February 2021 that she had become a co-owner of This Is It!, Wisconsin's oldest LGBTQ+ bar, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mattel is a country folk singer-songwriter in addition to her comic drag persona. She has also won various honors, including WOWIEs, Streamys, Queertys, Canadian Podcasting Awards, American Influencer Awards, and Webbys.
