Traci Braxton Cervical Cancer Stage- Husband Kevin Surrat And Son Grieves Her Death

The artist died from Esophageal cancer, not cervical cancer.

Traci had been battling cancer for a year but sadly lost her battle on Friday, March 2022, confirmed by her family members.

In an interview with TMZ, Traci's husband said: "We have come to a time where we must inform the public fans that after a year of privately undergoing a good series of treatments for Esophageal cancer, our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."

As of 2022, Traci was 50 years, was born on April 2, 1971, in Severn, Maryland.

Traci's father, Michael Conrad Braxton, was a Methodist clergyman and power company worker.

Traci's mother, Evelyn Jackson, is a native of South Carolina was a former opera singer, cosmetologist, and pastor.

Traci and Suratt had got itched in 1990; they were together for two decades despite all ups and downs.

Traci has a son, Kevin Suratt Jr.

Her son Kevin shared a touching image of himself with his late mother, paying tribute to her in the moving caption ending's love you ma I'm going to miss you.

Kevin posted on his Instagram," my mother fought to the top, and today she's asleep. He loved and will his mother forever, and this hurts so much, but he is at peace knowing her mother is not in pain anymore."

Traci appeared on a radio show titled "The Traci Braxton Show." 

Traci was active on Instagram under user name @thetracibraaaxton had 725k followers.

With her recent social media post of her son's wedding and her appearance with a drastic weight loss, fans wonder if she underwent surgery to shed off her extra pounds. Her fans could speculate singer Traci Braxton was sick. 

The artist had diabetes, one of the main causes of her change in outlook.

According to her husband's interview, the artist was diagnosed just a year ago.
