Who Is Theo Nate From House Of The Dragon? Meet The Actor Plays Young Laenor Velaryon

Theo Nate hails from England and has worked as an entertainer in the theatre in the UK. Theo is a novice actor who has gained his skills from acting schools in the UK. House of the Dragon is the only second television appearance the actor has made. His episode is yet to be released in the upcoming episodes of the season one. 

In the prequel, Theo who plays Laenor married Milly Alcock playing young Rhaenyra Targaryen, at a very young age. In the book, Laenor died young after the couple had their children. Set images are circulating on the web, where Laenor is seen with Rhaenyra in the beach. If it goes by the book, this could be the last time they encounter themeselves.

Some never-before-seen images were leaked by the locals who witnessed the shooting of George R. R Martins House of the Dragon. In the picture, both actors are seen in their full costume. 

Being the first husband of Young Rhaenyra, Theo's role is important in the making of House of Dragon. In George R. R Martins novel, Laenor Velaryon is the only son to Lord Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen. An heir to the Drifmark, Laenor is the first husband of the Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. The cousin couple had three children together, namely Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey.

In the television adaptation of the prequel, Laenor is played by Theo Nate as a teenager, John Macmillan as an adult, and Mattew Carver as a child. In the novel, Driftmark heir has silver-while hair color and purple eyes. He was born in 94 AC. Laenor had only one sibling who was his older sister Laena.

For the unification of House Targaryen and House Velaryon, King VIserys I Targaryen with his small council agreed to unite Laenor and Princess Rhaenyra targaryen to be husband and wife. Although, there was one objection that Laenor was not interested in women romantically. However, Grand Maester Mellos dismissed the objection and united the two. The couple got married in 114 AC. Unfortunately, Laenor died young at the age 26 in 120 AC while he was attending Spicetown fair.
