Simon McBurney and Wife Cassie Yukawa Live A Happy Life In North London

Simon McBurney wife Cassie Yukawa is a musician in London. Simon and Cassie together have three children.

She was born to an artist mother and a banker father in London, United Kingdom. Her mum, Susanne Bayly-Yukawa, is a British artist and activist.

She studied Japanese traditional arts and increased activism for business and human rights.

Akihisa Yukawa was the late father of the artist. Its been 37 years since her dad was killed in the JL123 air crash on August 12, 1985, at age 57.

He was the banker who signed documents on behalf of Sumitomo Bank in Indonesia in 1983.

Besides her dad, she lost her aunt Janet Channon due to heart failure at age 77 on January 9, 2021.

Also, Constance Olivia Bayly was her maternal grandmother, and Kazuo Yukawa was her grandfather, the former managing director of Fuji Bank.

Her sister Diana Yukawa is also an artist who specializes in violin. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, after her father's demise.

Yukawa has studied at Hawkwood CFT. Alicia Carey was the guardian of her childhood piano, who happily lives at Hawkwood.

The artist thanked her dearest Carey for helping her transition into literal new physical spaces.

Her Career As A Pianist

Cassie has frequently performed at The Piano Factory, where people can get space to explore and offer what they want to speak through them.

She is even involved in charity work. Once, they raised the fundraising goal from the evening for dear Polly Baton-Brown's horse Bouncer.

The piano player has played at the Royal Albert Hall, Almeida Theatre, Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall, London Film Festival 50th anniversary event, Ether Festival at the QEH, The Music Festival of the Hamptons, and more.

She even worked with the Musician Nitin Sawhney. According to her, she has a dream to plant a seed by inviting people to share their soul journey.  

She received incredible support for her first curated event at her factory. They had sold out for November and opened up a few final spaces for their time together on Saturday, December 10, 2022. 

The artist felt honored, privileged, and moved beyond words to host the birthing of beloved Katie Abbott's community, Pause Palace.

She even introduced the magical project thrumming on the cyber waves in liminal space. 

Simon McBurney married Yukawa on March 4, 2016, in the Camden Registry Office in the company of her three babies. They had dated for nine years.

They organized the double-decker wedding bus in the miraculous March, helped by Sarah Loader. They received the exquisite blessing of Angela's floral artistry while collaborating with the brilliant Anna J.

They previously lived in North London and later moved to Stroud, Gloucestershire, with their three kids. 

They had a last family walk together before Simon headed to New Zealand for a month in September. 

On August 25, 2022, the family celebrated the 65th birthday of the theatrical director McBurney. His spouse and children decorated the place for his special occasion. Her 13-year-old daughter Noma created the back of his sign, and the artist hurdled over the beam.

They completed the embellishments with improvised water bomb decorations and even used those balloons for the game.

Yukawa said the birthday table was ready for her partner's arrival day. She mentioned she only wanted to travel the wild cosmic ride with her mam and be blessed beyond measure for his return to this planet, unfolding cycles of his soul journey. 

The pianist praised her husband's cooking. She said besides directing theatre, writing, acting, and all, he is a chef who masters in food. 

In the winter, they worked together while they moved into the land of radio with an immersive audio drama of Susan Cooper's cult novel The Dark Is Rising.

When he returned to Slad Valley for half a day on the weekend, they had an autumn rhythm together for 2022 since September.

She mentioned she keeps locking herself in the piano room and blending her artistic impulses and family life. According to the pianist, her family life is ecstatic, clunky, life-affirming, and messy.

Yukawa and McBurney have three children Noma, Teyo, and Mamie McBurney. She shared numerous fun memories with her children on her Instagram.

She had her first child, Noma, on April 1, 2009, which diverted her direction of growth, and the experience made her feel the feminine nature.

On November 2022, she shared the first pic from her time together in Greece with her elder daughter, where she created Cyclone for her Godfather, Angel Marcello.

Once, his partner shared the hand drawing by Noma, to which Mamie added the blue nail polish. Even Toyo drew a rose for Valentine's Day.

His elder daughter was born an artist as she won the Chinese Year of the Tiger at the Wycliffe art competition. She even prepared for the school art scholarship exam with her dad. 

In March 2022, the English actor and his youngest daughter worked together in the studio for Figures in Extinction. Ultimetly, she was having fun rumbling the number from 1 to 24, whether the playwright said they were not ready yet.

McBurney played the role of Runyan Millworthy in both the seaons of the TV series Carnival Row. He appeared in the nine episodes of the series from 2019 to 2023. 

Simon McBurney Carnival Row's second season will air on February 17, 2023.
