Comedian Sam Tallent and Wife Emily Oprish Tallent Have An Adorable Daughter

Sam Tallent wife Emily Oprish Tallent is a certified nursing assistant. Emily is working on her residency in Family Medicine.

Unlike Sam, Emily Tallent comes from Dearborn, Michigan. Though it is unknown which high school she graduated from, she joined the University of Colorado Denver in 2010. 

She completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biology and General Studies. She graduated from the university in 2015.

Later she moved her studies to Touro University Nevada where she completed her studies in Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. She stayed with Rocky Vista University in 2020 for a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine graduation. 

Since she has been studying medicine she has been also working in the field since the start of her education.

She worked in Healthcare Tech at Denver Health SICU. Later she worked for the University of Colorado Health for her certification as Nursing Assistant for a year. 

Emily spent seven years in Home Health Care where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant even before she worked for the university.

She moved to Rocky Vista University for her to complete her graduation as Medical Student, where she worked for two years.

Right now, she is working with UCHealth Poudre Vallet Hospital full-time as Family Medicine Resident Doctor in Fort Collins, Colorado.

She has been truly passionate about taking her steps forward in primary care and is also working on women's health. 

Sam Tallent and Emily Oprish Tallent relationship began in 2012. The couple has since been there through thick and thin together. 

The couple met in 2012 when she had just started her job at Home Healthcare. Not exact information is provided on how the couple met but that year sparked the relationship between them. 

Before the comedian met his them-girlfriend, he used to live in Ithaca New York where he and his friends had made up a band.

They would practice playing the instrument at the commune's slaughterhouse but moved to Denver due to taking too much acid. Then she met him. 

As Sam was an upstart comic, he used to make his girlfriend laugh a lot and she also supported him through his journey.

After staying in a relationship for about four years, the couple decided to exchange their vows and be together for each other in June 2016.

The pair married in Denver at a lake with close friends and family.

Just before the pair's marriage ceremony, Emily had just left her job at the University of Colorado Hospital. She was trying to continue her work at Home Health Care and in their marriage as they were newlyweds. 

Sam Tallent never had any intention to do stand-up comedy at the beginning. Being hamstrung by other people made him think otherwise. 

After his high school graduation, his mother put him into an improv class at the Bovine Metropolis Theater in Denver. Initially, his goal was to be an improviser or a sketch comedian at that time. 

But when started doing it, he realized he didn't like to perform with other people. For better or worst, he wanted to be a lone wolf on the stage and be at the center of focus while being on the stage. This led him to his path toward stand-up comedy. 

His beginning years as a stand-up comedian were anything but funny. According to the Sam Tallent, he was far from being a proper comedian for what he is today. His bits were embarrassing and he was just trying to get a response from the crowd about his joke. 

Sam tells that he had to lie to himself that he was making the right decision and he is going to be the best out there just to start his stand-up. But that helped him to move forward as a comedian. 

The comedian started the journey of his career in Colorado because the place was filled with talent and had brought out many good comedians. Plus if had started in cities such as New York or Los Angeles, it would have been very tough and a nightmare for him. 

Along the way, he was able to get in touch and work with famous comedians such as Dave Chappelle and Kyle Kinnae. Now, he has had many shows in many cities in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia. 

Other than that, he also made his name as a novelist when he wrote his book called Running The Light. His book was featured in Birdy magazine and VICE.com and is soon to be turned into a major motion picture. 

Aside from that, he and his buddy Nathan Lund have their podcast called Chubby Behemoth, which is available on Apple Podcast.
