Jonah Koech recently has posted a photo of his family on his social sites. He has mentioned his two brothers and father in the picture. Also, the athlete has captioned, 'Quit worrying about what other people say about you, the negative comments, those are all distractions.'

Koech has added, 'You don't have to defend yourself; God said He would defend you and protect your reputation. My great family who cares about God bless you.' His parents may have encouraged him to live his dream. 

Moreover, Koech brings positively on his social page with his inspiring quotes. He has mentioned that an 'optimistic attitude leads to a chain reaction of good thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a motivation, and it sparks extraordinary results.'

On December 13, 2018, the athlete Koech completed his graduation and celebrated his birthday. He has thanked God for giving him another year of life. He has thanked everyone who has sent him the card and good wishes on his big day. 

Koech was born in September to Kenyan family roots. However, the athelet has not shared his family details with the media. He has posted a picture of his brother and father. Nonetheless, there is no post related to his mother. 

Koech has shared the picture with a little girl running, and he has pinned, 'The strongest girl. I think you may be the one person left who believes in you. He has stated, but it's enough. It takes just one thing to pierce a universe of darkness. And you're that star. Never give up.'

Furthermore, Geoffreychoge_jr 2016 conference USA steeple champ is the brother of the athlete. He is a future Olympian and two times conference USA DMR Champ.

Koech DQ'd in the men's 800, and the other Americans, another athlete Donavan Brazier, Bryce Hoppel, and Brandon Miller, had failed to advance. It means that, after going 1-4-8 in the last Worlds final, the US will have no men in the 2nd round of the 800 at Worlds for the first time.

It is challenging for Koech, who had been 1 of 2 former UTEP Miners, along with Emmanuel Korir, to advance to the 800m semifinals. However, the athlete is a tough runner who thinks success starts with a dream and constantly analyzes what you hear and see to let what is good for you get into your mind.
