Robert Whittaker's parents are Jack Whittaker (father) and Jewel Whittaker (mother). 

Robert's father, Jack, is an Australian of European descent. Likewise, his mother, Jewel, is of Maori and Samoan descent. 

Jack had enrolled Robert and his brother in a Goju-Ryu Karate school. Robert was just 7 years old then. His father wanted to encourage them in self-discipline and self-defense. 

After eight years of training, Tobert earned his black belt. It was that time when his father offered the Whittaker brothers the chance to change to another sport or drop Karate entirely.

Robert's brother decided to drop Karate. However, Robert chose to switch to Hapkido gym run by Henry Perez. Soon, Henry transformed his gym into an MMA gym. 

This was the bring of Robvet's MMA journey. 

Robert Whittaker has a brother. However, his name is not exactly known. Likewise, we are not quite sure whether he has a sister or not.

Furthermore, Robert lives in a family with his wife and children. His wife, Sophia Whittaker, and Robert began dating back in 2011. 

Later in 2013, the couple announced their engagement. At last, they finally got married on 25th October 2014, after a year of their engagement.

Robert and Sophia Whittaker are the parents of four children. The couple is blessed with three sons and one daughter. Their names are John Whittaker, Jack Whittaker, Jace Whittaker, and Lilliana Whittaker. Furthermore, Whittaker also has legal guardianship of his younger half-sister and brother Kerehi and Henry Matafeo.
