Roadworthy Rescues is filmed on location at Vice Grip Garage in Lewisburg, Tennessee. It was previously shot in Kentucky, Detroit, and North Carolina.

It is a show about Derek Bieri and his amazing skills in transforming a non-running abandoned car back into its working state.

The first season of Roadworthy Rescues was released on September 28, 2022. It is a 45-minute documentary television series that airs on Tuesdays.

In this episode, he and his brother, Sean, reconstruct a 20-year-old 1979 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.

The finale of Season 1 in episode 8, was shot in North Caroline, where Derek is seen traveling to the last standing AMC dealership located in Pikeville.

North Caroline is remembered for its fine art and culture, and lovely state parks with huge mountains.

The Vice Grip Garage was earlier located in Minnesota, Wisconsin. However, later it was shifted.

Where Is Vice Grip Garage Located? 

Derek Biere and Jessica Biere moved their shop location from Minnesota to Tennessee. The garage is now located in Lewisburg, Tennessee.

The founders of Vice Grip Garage disclosed on their Youtube channel the shift and the reason for doing so.

They explained many reasons, such as the economy, accommodation and a better and more peaceful environment to raise kids.

Derek described that the cost of living in Tennessee is much lower than that of Minnesota. The couple accumulated some savings since Tennessee does not charge income tax.

Another reason is to have a different lifestyle for their children. They looked forward to an environment where their kids to play outside on dirt bikes and four-wheelers.

Minnesota, no doubt, is a great place for children, but riding a snowmobile on the property didn't seem normal as compared to driving in Tennessee.

Continued in the video, Bieries indicated that the weather was the determining element in shifting to a new location.

His videos were restricted due to the icy climate of Minnesota. After the shift, he made lots of videos to entertain his viewers.

Finally, it was convenient for them to be close to their family, and Derek could visit events based on his profession.
