Richard Hamilton Is A NYC Broker On Million Dollar Listing New York

Richard Hamilton appeared in season 4 episode 9 on Million Dollar Listing New York. He came to inspire people for organ donation. 

The show introduced him as a well-known broker in New York City.

The episode has sight into Luis's apartment where his mother Mariam was cooking for him.

He was ready for the deal of the unique apartment at 300 E. 90TH ST with the broker. But after the contract went out, his agent disappeared.

So, he asked his assistant Ronita about him, as he vanished for seven days while not responding to messages, calls, and emails. 

While running through his busy schedule, he received a call from the broker after a week and a half of absence.

Two hours before his dinner with his mother, the agent asked the TV personality to meet for dinner.

After Hamilton arrived at the dinner, he looked unhealthy as he wore an oxygen tube.

He was sorry for being unable to talk to the realtor; he said he was in the hospital this week as they had to get heart, lung, and liver surgery.

The television personality felt sorry as he was unknown of his health condition.

However, the broker gave the good news to him as they were still on for the contract. He brought an offer, and Luis said to forget about the deal as it was the last thing that mattered.

According to Hamilton, he did the show to motivate people to sign organ donor cards. All he wanted was support from his viewers and readers for organ donation.

He even shared his story of feeling encouraged to be part of the show.

When season 4, episode 8 premiered, he was back in the hospital for curing Bronchitis.

He even asked the nurse if she had watched the show. She took some time and asked him to sign the donor cards. 

From that moment, he agreed to be part of the show as he thought few would see the show and would be motivated to do that.

While he worked on the show, he said Luis was a gentleman with him, and even his coach mentioned his story inspired the real estate salesperson.

He is living his normal life in New York City. According to Hamilton, his life has gotten difficult since the show. 

Even the Puerto Rico-born said the NYC broker is a warrior.

However, he dealt with it and tried to work on his life problem by one day at a time.

Even Luis's business coach Aaron Keith said the broker's health has improved from the previous days. 

After 2015, there was no detail of his work history. He last represented as the seller for an apartment in December in Zillow. 

After fans knew about Hamilton's health condition, they seemed worried about whether he was doing fine and recovering from his previous stage.

Some said after rewatching the episode, it melted and broke their heart to see the broker sick.

They were heartbroken for him when he apologized to Luis for being unavailable as he was in the hospital for a week and a half. 

Despite this, he was concerned about their deal and eager to complete it.
