Rand Paul

Rand Paul is an American politician and at present serves as a junior senator of United States from Kentucky. He belongs to one of the most powerful parties of America, Republican. He was born on January 7th, 1963 at San Antonio. He is the son of Ron Paul and his wife Carol Wells. He attended Brazos wood High School and later graduated from Duke University School of medicine. Rand Paul is also an author. He has written several books. “Government Bullies: How Everyday Americans are being harassed, abused, and Imprisoned by Feds” is one of creation by Paul. It was released on September 12, 2012.

Interestingly, his father belonged to politics himself, so it’s no wonder that his son follow his father’s footsteps. His dad was one of the contender’s of 2012 Republican presidential candidate. He first made his appearance felt in the media during 2008 while delivering political speeches on behalf of his father. The son and dad duo works in collaboration to serve US House of Representative. Last year, the Senator was detained at the Airport by the Transportation Security Administration for indefinite time. Sources say that he was stopped to board his flight after he refused to get full body pat on.

Like many of the Republican Party people, he also opposes gay marriage. As per Paul, he doesn’t understand the same sex union. He further adds that he only knows the traditional marriages between the man and a woman. And he is unwilling to change that definition which has lasted forever. His views do not win him scores though, but he and his party people do not seem to withdraw their belief whatsoever. Similarly, Paul also opposes abortion. He believes that the conceived fetus should not be killed in any circumstance even if the pregnancy had occurred due to rape or any sorts of forceful sex act.

Rand Paul is blessed with a great personality. He’s got the attitude and he definitely has that charisma that a political leaders are expected to have. There’s a much speculation about his height though. It is believed that the man is five feet and seven inches tall. He might not have been as tall, but he has the intellect and the influential persona that has got him this far in his political career.

He married his wife Kelley Ashby in 1990. They first met at Atlanta where Kelley. The couples have been staying together for more than two decades. It’s amazing that the pair survived their marriage for this long. They are the parents of three children. William, Duncan and Robert Paul are the names of their sons.
