He entered the NBA Draft after his collegiate career in 1998. He was the 39th overall pick in the second round by the Milwaukee Bucks. He successfully transitioned from streetball to the professional game during his time at Bucks.

He was traded to Toronto Raptors in 2003 and went on to play for Miami Heat soon after. In 2004, he returned to Toronto and signed a multi-year deal. From 2005 to 2008, he played for Houston Rockets, and in 2009 was for Orlando Magic. 

He went to sign a contract with New Jersey Nets in June 2009 and was let go in January 2010. He returned to Miami in 2010 and then went for Zhejiang Lions in 2011. But, he was asked not to return after attending his friend's funeral, and despite his injury, he did not see the doctor.
