However, the game was marred by a brawl between spectators in the stands. The play was stopped for nearly 30 minutes with 4:37 left in the game and the Bulldogs ahead 68-32.

The tense environment escalated to a brawl when a small area of seats, largely occupied by Wagner fans, sat adjacent to Bryant's student section.

Wagner's Will Martinez attempted to enter the stands but was dismissed from the game, and many players had to be restrained.

After taking a steal the other way for a two-handed dunk with 4:44 left in the first half, Kiss scored 17 points in 11 1/2 minutes to make it 36-6.
