Meanwhile, a tornado destroys the buildings. Gary must save Allison's stone, and Pete's team agrees to help Gary get to the paper mill.
They record messages for family and are ready for the worst. Pete's team rushes to Silverton to rescue citizens from an EF-5 tornado. He sacrifices himself to save lives by moving Titus to a storm grate.
Allison praises Pete's sacrifice and dedication to science as townspeople begin to rebuild after the tornado outbreak.
