Minoli De Silva, from Sri Lanka, is 34 years of age. Her family relocated to Melbourne when she was merely a child.

Reportedly, she currently lives in Darwin, but her youth was steeped in the gastronomic delights of her birthplace.

Similarly, her mother made exquisite Sri Lankan stews with seasonal food and lesser-known spices like chicken giblets, bitter gourd, jackfruit, and dried fish when Minoli was a kid.

Details On Minoli De Silva Cancer 

As per reports, Minoli was afflicted with Stage 3A breast cancer at 30.

Moreover, she underwent chemotherapy for six months, surgery for five weeks, and radiation for five weeks following her prognosis. Minoli did the best she could with the situation.

Additionally, Silva recounted that her mother would prepare delicious Sri Lankan curries for her throughout her chemotherapy treatment, but she could not consume them.

Furthermore, Minoli is cancer-free today, although she still has monthly screenings and takes a hormone suppressor. She believes that sharing her story would help to normalize her experience and warn others that cancer may strike anybody at any time.

Her battle with cancer inspired her to enter the MasterChef competition. After that, she was given two chances to compete.
