Although she had previously mentioned about leaving the show, it is unclear if he left because of her grandfather's demise or the pressure of a reality show.

Episode 6, titled An Emotional Goodbye, which aired on April 12, 2023, saw Baker leaving the show. It was an emotional moment for farmer Hunter who had built a strong connection with her.

Just a few hours ago, she shared a heart-touching video on TikTok titled "I have to understand that God has a plan for everything." She also thanked the show for the wonderful opportunity.

In the video, she further wrote, "It was hard to leave you, Hunter, and all you lovely women." Soon, fans and loved ones flooded the comment section showing their concern.

One desperate fan wrote, "Please tell me he comes and gets you in the end." Another added, "Literally cried tonight. Praying for your family and that you two find your way back to one another.

Viewers also showed concern in one of Meghan Baker's recent Instagram posts. They said they were sorry to hear about her grandfather and hoped she would get the time she needed to be with her family.

While people try to understand her pain and accept her departure, deep inside, they hope to see her again in the show.

Hunter Grayson is a handsome young farmer trying to find a perfect wife on the show. He ends up building a strong connection with Meghan.

Initially, Grayson fell for Stephanie, the 29-year-old sommelier from Tomecula. In one of the episodes, he even made clear he only wanted to talk to her during a rodeo outing.

Meanwhile, he was attracted to Baker when she called him out for not answering her question in a ball-busting steer session on his farm.

Baker, a 23-year-old farm girl who grew up on a cattle ranch with her family back home in Tennessee, was one of Grayson's five potential partners. Recent episodes have witnessed how their connection bloomed.

In March 15 episode, Baker shared her concerns with Grayson. She pulled him aside and mentioned the show feels "staged in a way", and she can't stand out other women's outgoing personalities.

She admitted, "I don't think I can do the reality TV part of it. I gotta go home." Despite her initial excitement to find love in a farmer, she opened up about being uneasy with the reality television aspect.

Baker said it was uncomfortable to her at times with 32 women competing for the same man as they were all fighting for their attention.

Yet, she fell for Grayson, a cattle and horse rancher from Georgia, and had good times with him before finally leaving the show in Episode 6.

She made plenty of good memories with the farmer. In March 29 episode, she learns how to castrate bulls, an important skill a farmer's wife needs to know, through Hunter.

The farmer caps off the long day's work by serving Baker, Stephanie, DeVonne, and Sydney a plate of steaming-hot calf fries. 

Hunter on Farmer Wants a Wife was close to Meghan Baker. After Meghan's departure from the show it is not sure who the farmer Hunter will end up with.

The recent episode had fans in tears, bound to bid farewell to one of their most-favourite stars from the show.

Fans really hope Hunter and Meghan end up together as they have a pure thing going on between them. "Seriously hoping he goes and brings her back!!" a fan wrote on Baker's recent TikTok video.

Fox is yet to release the total episode count for the show, and things are getting down to the wire for farmers and their potential partners.

Grayson has shared his experience on Fox's reality series and revealed which side he found the most challenging. Ahead of the show's premiere, he said he struggled with dating multiple women simultaneously.

Talking to Newsweek, he said, "When you're dating all these women at one time, you know that's not something that I'm not, nor should I, ever be comfortable with."

He added if he were comfortable with that, he would have questioned his moral compass. He thinks that was the biggest challenge for him.

Speaking more about how he faced the challenges of being featured on the show, he said he always wanted to put the ladies first. He described filming the show as one of the most incredible experiences of his life.
