The series also provided an insight into the renovation process, engaging viewers to start projects themselves and transform their living space for the better.

The program airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on its platform HGTV.

Where Is Luxe For Less HGTV Filmed?

HGTV Luxe For Less was filmed in Georgia, Atlanta, and Dunwoody. They spent most of their time filming in Metro Atlanta.

The principal photographer talked about beginning their shooting around 2020, but the pandemic poured water all over the efforts. A short videoing schedule extended to two years as the crew wrapped things around May 2022.

When the production was active, they took their equipment to Georgia, the eighth most popular state in the Southeastern region.

The town became the hub for their daily schedules as the team set up camp in various neighborhoods across the metropolitan area. Michel and his crew recorded several critical regional scenes, getting spotted in Johns Creek and Dunwoody.

In addition to being the boiling pot of music and hip-hop, the location is also home to several tourist attractions that pull millions of travelers each year.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, Atlanta Symphony Hall, and High Museum of Art prove as a background for some picturesque shots.

Not only that, but they are one of the most affordable locations for shooting in the U.S., with food, transportation, and accommodations being cheap enough for a crew of hundreds.

The producers can make an optimum tax credit with top series like Stranger Things, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Legacies, and Monarch happening in the same city.
