Everything Coming To Paramount Plus and Leaving in July 2023

The Game and Queen of the Universe are leaving Paramount+ in July 2023. The shows are Paramount+ originals.

In addition, Rise of the Pink Ladies and Star Trek Prodigy will also be leaving in the coming days.

Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies has been canceled after one season, while Star Trek: Prodigy won't go further with its initially disclosed second season.

All these titles will be wiped off from Paramount+ with the studious deceiving plan to sell them to opponent broadcasters and streamers.

After taking the impairment charge, the company might disclose the pecuniary loss it has sustained.

This move might be the result of similar action executed by Paramount+ by withdrawing a bunch of other titles from its service, including Coyote, No Activity, Guilty Party, The Harper House, The Real World, and The Twilight Zone.

Other streamers such as Netflix, prior HBO Max, and Disney+ also have practiced such conduct by canceling original series from their service as a way to cut costs.

Why Was Rise Of The Pink Ladies Cancelled?

Rise Of The Pink Ladies was canceled to decrease expenses. The streaming service is removing three other shows for the same reason.

According to the AP NEWS, getting rid of the original shows by a streaming service from their library helps them in tax write-downs and, to some extent, rescue residual payments.

Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies is a prequel to the film Grease. The series Rise of Pink Ladies premiered on April 6.

Rise Of The Pink Ladies is being removed on July 1, 2023, from Paramount+.

The prequel series stars Marisa Davila, Cheyenne Isabel, Ari Notartomaso, Tricia Fukuhara, and many others.

A petition was started by Cara Horton on June 23, 2023, to save the show. It is titled "Save Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and move it to a different streaming service".

Already 7,325 people have signed, aiming for 7,500 as the next goal.

The series is still streaming with its ten-episode before it gets pulled down.

Star Trek: Prodigy is leaving Paramount+ on June 30, 2023. The series premiered on Paramount+ in October 2021 with its first ten episodes, which later aired on Nickelodeon.

The second part of ten episodes premiered between October and December 2022.

The cancelation of this show comes irrespective of the renewal of the second season back in 2021.

An animated kids' series is also backed by a petition titled "Save Star Trek Prodigy!".  Started by Michele on June 23, the signatures count has reached 12,986.

Special Ops: Lioness and Big Nate are coming soon to Paramount Plus. July release includes both Paramount Plus Originals and other library content.

Paramount Plus Originals Coming In July 2023

Star Trek: Strange New World (Season 2), and ICarly (Season 3) will premiere as Paramount + originals. Some others are continued shows from June.

New on Paramount Plus July 2023 is Big Nate (Season 2), a series about an 11 years old gifted boy Nate who along with his friends handles sixth grade with playfulness and style.

Star Trek: Strange New World shows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One explore new worlds around the galaxy on the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The show is a Paramount original Paramount is home to Star Trek's many shows, and movies.

Joe Pickett (season 2) is also a continuing show from June about a game warden Joe Pickett and his family.

ICarly (Season 3) is about a prior teen Internet famous and her friend who handles the difficulties of adulthood. Some things go right, while some get messed up. The show is continuing from June.

New movies on Paramount Plus in July 2023 are Special Ops: Lioness. It is releasing on July 23 on Paramount Plus.

In the movie, Joe tries to balance her individual and work life as the tip of the spear in the CIA's war on terror.
