Johnny Depp Daughter Lily-Rose Depp Illness And Drug Use, Did He Introduce Weed To Her At 14?

Johnny Depp has talked about his daughter, Lily-Rose's Depp's'illness previously as well. According to People, she was admitted to the hospital in 2007 after getting an E. Coli infection that resulted in kidney failure. She was seven years old at that time.

She was hospitalized for nine days, and Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Lily-mother kept a constant watch at her bedside. The actor donated $2 million to the Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2008 after Lily-Rose was successfully treated for the condition.

According to her Wikipedia, she has previously struggled with anorexia, but she has recovered now. It is an eating disorder whose symptoms include low weight, food restriction, body image dissatisfaction, anxiety about gaining weight, and an intense desire to be thin. 

After that, there is no mention of her suffering from any kind of illness. Thus, we assume she is a fit and fine youngster for now.

Amber heard accuses Lily-Rose Depp of drug use. She stated that she felt protective of her even though she had only known Lily briefly. She also expressed her concerns about "a famous musician over the age of 18" living at their home.

On the other hand, in 2020, during the libel trial against UK's The Sun, Depp claimed that he never encouraged his daughter to take marijuana.

He said that she was 13 years old at that time and all he did was advise his child as a concerned parent. He was afraid that his daughter would try some dangerous substance when she goes to any high school parties, writes Yahoo News.

He expressed his concern that he was afraid she would intake something dangerous under the influence of any stranger. Thus, he told her to come to him whenever she felt that she was ready.
