JB Smoove daughter is also one of the contestants in the ABC network Claim to Fame reality television show.

The reality competition series is airing on the ABC channel network. The show renewed the second season with the new cast on June 26, 2023.

The format of the show is that the twelve contestants who have a famous relative move into a house together and need to complete the task.

The contestants have to share clues that hint at their celebrity relatives. There are some twists that some of those clues are made to eliminate other players.

The overall goal of the contestant is to be the last one to successfully hide your relative's identity and keep it a secret from others.

The contestants complete a series of challenges each week, and the winner will be free from being identified.

If they guessed correctly, then the person matched with their celebrity relative will be sent home but if the guesser is wrong, then they will go home instead.

Monay Celebrity relative is her father JB Smoove, but the contestants are finding it hard to discover her relative.

Until now, she has dropped various clues, at first there was confusion that she could be related to the comedian Steve Harvey.

The first clue was dropped in episode 1 in two truths and a lie segment, where she told that her celebrity relative is her father, who has won Emmy and is an athlete.

Similarly, her second clue was revealed in episode 5, Gabriel understood that the clue referred to Saturday Night Live but could not crack the celebrity.

In episode six, it was confirmed that she was not related to Steve Harvey and in episode 7, a curb was shown on the clue wall that seems difficult to solve.

Again in episode 8, Claim to Fame Monay was able to win her own clue in the celebrity trivia challenge which allowed her to keep her secret safe.

As of now, 7 contestant has been eliminated from the ABC reality television show Claim to Fame. The remainings are Chris, Monay, Karsyn and Gabriel.

Now the tension is high as the remaining four contestants are getting close to the finale episode and fans are excited about the winner of the season and whooping cash amount of $100,000.

The final two episodes 9 and 10 of the ABC reality competition show will air on Monday, August 28, 2023, from 8 pm to 10 pm.

Monay is the daughter of actor and comedian J.B. Smoove. Her full name is Jerrica Brooks and her stage name is J.Monay.

She works as a Business Development Manager at Four Square Miles since the year 2021.

JB Smoove's daughter completed her college at the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science and Psychology.

Her aim is to make a career in marketing, consumer behavior, and branding. Her skills include time management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Claim to fame personality Monay also owns a pie company, she started her business when she was studying in college, according to The Life of Dad.

Monay started working as Marketing Manager for the company Habitat for Humanity Restore in the year 2014.

After that, she also served as a Marketing Associate for MSCO Marketing and did her Marketing Intern at Four Square Miles Inc from January 2017 to February 2018.

She has got a few other experiences in the Marketing sector in the entertainment industry as well as in Raindance Film Festival.

Per her LinkedIn account, she also worked for United Talent Agency as Executive Assistant to Chief Branding Officer until 2020.

On November 19, 2021, she appeared in The Need to Know Podcast and shared her experience of growing up as a responsible adult.

She also added details about her being the daughter of celebrated comedian JB Smoove and growing up in Hollywood.

Jerrica was seen candidly in the episode as she gave success tips to the viewers and her working experience in marketing and managing brands.

JB Smoove parents are Floyd and Elizabeth Brooks. He was born in Plymouth, North Carolina on December 16, 1965. 

He was raised by his parent and moved from North Carolina to Mount Vernon, New York. He and his family lived in the Levister Towers housing project.

The comedian also has two younger brothers with whom he shares a close bond and grew up in Mount Vernon in the same house.

Smoove spent adequate time visiting his mother and his extended maternal family in the Plymount area, which shaped his comedic career and style.

Sadly, his father passed away from diabetes when he was just a 15-year-old kid. It was a difficult time for him and his family.

The 58 years old actor completed his high school education at Mount Vernon High School and later went to Norfolk State University in Virginia.

During the early year of his life, he worked as a perfume formulator and also used to sell fire extinguishers door-to-door.

It was when he started doing stand-up comedy he decided to keep one stage name and from Jerry Crooks to J.B. and Kept Smoove as his last name.

Since 2018, he has been following a vegan lifestyle and committed to a healthy and better lifestyle. 

In 2007, JB Smoove got married to singer Shahidah Omar and is now living in Los Angeles, USA.
