Ishy Khan is the new expert on Antiques Road Trip. Ishy joined the show with the road trip regular and expert extraordinaire Izzie Balmer.

Antiques Road Trip is a popular television series produced by STV Studios for BBC. The show debuted on BBC Two on March 8, 2010.

It aired on the channel until 2012 and has been shown on BBC One since 2013. The series is not to be confused with Antiques Roadshow.

The program features two antique experts as they go out on a road trip across Britain to buy antiques and collectibles. Later, they put the valuables up for bid in hopes to make a profit.

After the auction, the winner is determined by comparing each expert's profit over five legs after deducting the costs.

The remaining money left in the kitty is donated to charity.

Each leg is a single program, which is usually broadcast from Monday to Friday. Currently, Season 26 is being aired, which landed on February 13, 2023, on BBC One.

Ishy Joins Izzy Balmer This Season On A Roadtrip

While Izzy Balmer is a familiar face on daytime TV, Ishy is a new recruit who joined her in Antiques Road Trip. Both experts are glad to work and compete with each other.

Balmer is a regular cast who joined the show a few years ago, in 2019, during the ninth season. Fans may also remember her for appearing in Bargain Hunt and Antiques Roadshow.

Her passion for antiques ignited when her mom suggested that she should do some work at a local auction house after completing her university studies.

With all her dedication and experience, the 33-year-old worked her way up in the industry to become a head auctioneer and valuer at the Wessex Auction rooms in Wiltshire.

Although the Derbyshire native works as a head valuer, she is becoming more and more known for her television roles.

Besides the regular version of the road trip, Balmer has also appeared in the celebrity version.

Before debuting on the show, the antique expert was a part of another BBC program, Street Auction.
