No, Zendaya is not going to MET Gala 2023 on May 1st, 2023. This year stars will reunite to honor the late Karl Lagerfeld.

The Met Gala is famous for its glamour, glitz, and sensational ensembles. The grand event is held annually as a way to raise money for the museum's Costume Institute.

Organized by Anna Wintour, Vogue editor-in-chief, the event features some of the nation's biggest names in politics and culture walking down the red carpet in fashionable attire.

The Met, which is often an exhibition of opulence and status, hosts about 33,000 objects representing seven centuries of fashion.

A ticket to the event, which is invite-only, is firm to come by. A single ticket may cost around $50,000 though designers may choose to buy an entire table for some $300,000.

With top designers and celebrities getting together from all over the world at The Metropolitan Museum of Arts to showcase their most innovative and unique designs, Met Gala is a must-see event.

And Zendaya's status as red carpet royalty is all we will talk about today. Her Met Gala looks are distinctive and have become some of the best in fashion history.

Is Zendaya Going To MET Gala 2023?

No, Zendaya is not going to the Met Gala 2023 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the first Monday in May. She first appeared at the event in 2015 as a guest of the Sicilian designer.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming actress and her stylist have worked steadily over the years to prove their fashion style to the world.

It is more apparent when we look at the actress's history at the Met Gala. She went from a guest to an elegant VIP capable of attaining all the attention on one of the world's busiest red carpets.

Her Gala looks are unforgettable, like when her sparkling Cinderella gown magically transformed and when she climbed the steps dressed in body armor. Magical!!!

Some other A-listers attending the event include Elle Fanning, Rita Ora, Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Roger Federer, Michaela Coel, Anna Wintour, Ashley Graham, Austin Butler, and Jenna Ortega, among others.

The 2023 Met Gala has centered its theme on Karl Lagerfeld, as it celebrates the opening of the Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty exhibit, honoring the late designer's style and themes.

Lagerfeld is best known for transforming Chanel into a modern brand serving as its creative director. He was also the creative director of Fendi from 1967 until his death and the designer for Chloe.

From merging fashion with hip-hop to launching his own eponymous brand, Lagerfeld rose to become one of the most influential, captivating, and prolific figures in the fashion world.

Notably, one of the most exclusive events, the Met Gala 2023 will be live-streamed across Vogue's social media pages and website.

People can also watch the red carpet on E!, starting at 6 pm ET. In addition, NBC will also be live streaming the carpet moments through its website and app.

Zendaya Met Gala Dresses

Zendaya's iconic looks make history at every Met Gala she attends. She previously shut down the 2019 Met Gala dressed as Cinderella.

And since she skipped out on last year's Met Gala while filming the sports drama Challengers in Boston, fans are anticipating her comeback to be better and bigger than ever.

As we sincerely await the event, let's take a look at all of the actress's Met Gala dresses and gowns. We can't even imagine how she'll nail these ensembles in 2023. But we are confident she will.

The theme of the Met Gala for 2019 was Camp: Notes on Fashion, a nod to Susan Sontag's famous essay.

Zendaya and stylist Law Roach reenacted Cinderella on the red carpet, with Tomy Hilfiger designing the light-up dress. Roach naturally stepped into the role of Fairy Godfather.

And don't miss the actress's pumpkin coach bag, courtesy of the American master of bedazzled evening minaudières, Judith Leiber. Of course, she left a glass slipper behind.

After the red carpet theatrics, Zendaya changed into a stunning flowy gown in a delicate shade of lilac and kept her pumpkin bag close.

The 2018 Met Gala theme "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" showcased tons of holy items from the Vatican.

Zendaya attended the event prepared for a battle for the Catholicism-themes edition. Her Versace gown was a nod to Saint Joan of Arc.

The Euphoria star managed to get the iconic Italian fashion house to find inspiration in the Patron Saint of France. Once inside, she removed the shoulder and the chest piece for a more comfortable fit.

For Versace's official after-party, she wore a Versace skirt with a Philanthropy tee.

2017 -Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between

The 2017 Met Gala honored the Japanese label Comme des Garcons and its founder Rei Kawakubo.

Zendaya rocked a tropical-printed Dolce and Gabbana gown featuring a parrot print and giving hints of red, which also matched her bold lipstick.

And though the maximalist gown wasn't really in conversion with the dress code, it was, however, breathtaking.

She stuck to both Dolce and her floral theme at the afters that year. Her dress had intentionally unfinished detailing on the shoulders, concerning Kawakubo's sartorial themes of deconstruction.

The 2016 Met Gala went back to the future with technology at the forefront. The theme inspired scores of futuristic looks from fashion's elite.

This year, Zendaya attended the event as a guest of fashion designer Michael Kors. She wore a shiny, metallic, golden, one-shoulder cutout staggering dress by Kors.

Her outfit's inspiration was straight from Studio 54. Moreover, she had a Minnelli-ish bob. It kind of gave off a digital and futuristic vibe.

At the after-party, she maintained the golden look with a go-go-inspired minidress and boots by Kors.

The 2015 event celebrated China's influence on Western fashion with a theme suited for an emperor.

The theme itself lent to a dress code complete with beautiful embroidery, rich colors, and exquisite jewelry. Attendees from Amal Clooney to Rihanna dressed in the theme for the night.

2015 was Zendata's first-ever Met Gala, where she wore a short sculptural minidress created by Fausto Puglisi. She was a guest of the Sicilian designer.

Her skirt showcased a sun motif as a nod to the theme, featuring a train that trailed behind her. She accessorized her looks with a tiara and a handful of bracelets.

For the after parties, she chose a lovely blaack and brown skirt suit.
