According to BBC, Helen Thomas earns a salary of around $200,000 working as the head of the station, and her net worth is estimated to be around $1 million. Before acting as the head of the station, she has been working with the station since 1995.

Recently, she helped BBC with the success of Project Hull, which was a £25m investment on BBC connecting locally in Hull/East Riding of Yorkshire. She has been an integral part of BBC even before working as the head of Radio 2.
