Who Is Haqi Ali From House of The Dragon?

Haqi Ali hails from Birmingham and is a former St. Pauls Youth Theatre member, where he developed his passion for acting and writing.

Apart from working in the entertainment industry, Ali began his career as a stand-up comedian and rose to fame as he performed in 'So Your Think Your Funny Comedy Competition at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1993.

As a comedian, he also served in BBC's Malai Monologues in 2003. In addition, Ali worked as a comedian in The Corporate Comedy Series in 2016 for Twist and Shout Productions.

In 2015, Haqi Ali got the official nomination for his role as Sargent Ghasemin in the short film Go With God at BATSFF for Best Supporting Actor. 2014 Go With God won the Best Short Film award at Cardiff International Film Festival 2017.
