The series follows the story of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel who are sent to their great uncle Stan to spend their summer holidays.

Leaving their home in California, they arrive at the mysterious town that is surprisingly full of paranormal incidents and supernatural creatures. They stay at their great uncles' Mystery Shack, which he owns and used to trap unknown tourists into buying the staff.

The series began on 2012 June 15 and ran for 4 years. The story creator Alex Hirsch announced that the series ended in 2016. The series' final episode came on 2016 February 15.

According to what Hirsch said, the show came to a conclusion and was not canceled, though the fans were pretty upset about it.

Will the Gravity Falls Leave Hulu?

No, Gravity Falls is not leaving Hulu and will be part of it. However, the show will also stream on Disney and Disney+.

A streaming network puts an expiration tag when the movie they are showing will not be shown anymore. The expiration tag has the number of days the show will be shown.

Plus, Disney owns Hulu for most of it, with the remaining held by Comcast. But Comcast has all the management rights to Disney. So, Disney has the sole right to the show.

So the viewers can be assured that the show will not leave the show. However, a Reddit post stated that the show was to go on the streaming channel a year before.

Though Disney owns Hulu, it is a free market, and there can be multiple buyers for the show, which can cause competition among streaming services.
