Gold Rush White Water 2023 is rescheduled by the production company until April next year. The show was supposed to hit the screens in January 2023.

The show airs on Discovery Channel and follows placer gold miners "Dakota" Fred Hurt and his son Dustin Hurt. They return to the wilderness of Haines Borough, Alaska, searching for their fortune by suction dredge diving among its rushing whitewater creeks.

Dustin Hurt and his team stake everything on gold claims farther into the wilderness of Alaska than ever before.

They must learn to handle everything Mother Nature throws them to survive and thrive in the harsh environment. The series is a spin-off of the Gold Rush.

Gold Rush White Water 2023 Was Re-Scheduled

Gold Rush White Water 2023 has gone on a hiatus this year. Gold Rush fans are not happy with the producer's decision.

Tim Dalby, the show's producer, revealed on social media that Discovery abruptly put Gold Rush: White Water on pause in the middle of the season. The network's decision stunned everyone, including Dalby, and he was not pleased with it.

The network reportedly pulled the program from the air for the following three months in the midst of the season.

Fans are going crazy after this announcement. Some blame Tim, while others genuinely want to know why. Platforms like Reddit and Facebook are filled with solid public reactions.

With the end of the season in sight, Parker is about to turn a huge corner. The show announced its fourth season's arrival through Instagram on 25th January 2020

Additionally, there was no notification for the weekly viewers. Even though the show has already been paid for and is over, according to Tim, the network did it to save money.

One of the fans says, "Discovery seems to be all over the place this Season with Gold Rush, so I'm not surprised the spin-off shows such as White Water are being delayed and/or moved around."

Similarly, another says, "Their reasoning of it being too expensive doesn’t make much sense since, as mentioned in the post, the money is spent already."

It simply needs to air. However, the network can keep something "off the books" until it airs on TV due to how the business is run.

The show wouldn't return until April. People are curious about when season 7 will start. Many of them didn’t like the way season 6 ended as well.

The Show Might Be Back By April Next Year

The next episode of Gold Rush: White Water will be back this April. Gold Rush: White Water producers have mentioned the probable break.

The third season's debut date, November 8, 2019, was confirmed on October 10, 2019. The fourth season's debut date, November 13, 2020, was revealed on October 23, 2020.

In the last season of "Gold Rush: White Water," Dustin Hurt has staked everything on gold claims farther into the Alaskan wilderness than ever before.

The last episode of season 6 aired on December 30th. A sudden storm sweeps through Nugget Creek, severely endangering dive sites and dredges. Dustin bets more on his airboat gamble, and growing pressure results in an explosion that could ruin the season.

Hurt and his team are forced to rebuild their mining operation after moving it nine miles up the huge Tsirku river and through the Chilkat mountains. They acquire new skills to survive the challenging environment and mother nature at her worst.

However, the season was canceled, and they promised to return by January. Unfortunately, things did not fall into place, and it has been pushed down further to April.

If we look at the scenario now, then season 6 is still on break but show audiences are already eager for the 7th season.

It was disrespectful to the viewers to cancel a show in the middle of a season to save money. One supporter responded to the news by writing that they just cared about their money, not the artist, actors, laborers, or audience.

Tim stated that this somewhat short-sighted action would hamper the show, adding that the series has been rating well again.

A fan questioned why the network would cancel a popular show in the midst of the season. People pay for Discovery+, but based on what they said, it doesn't seem like their money is enough to motivate the network to care about the show.
