Forbidden Fruit (2023) Bet Plus Cast and Movie Review

Forbidden Fruit Bet Plus cast are Patrick Faucette, Autumn Sylve, and Zephaniah Terry. Donny Carrington and Alisha Ward appear in supporting roles.

1. Patrick Faucette As Delmar Sims

Faucette played the role of preacher Delmar Sims, who ran a church. Besides this, he has a side criminal business which led to killing and dealing with illegal substances.

When Sims consulta with his doctor Graham, he learns that he has less time to live as he was diagnosed with cancer.

The actor felt proud of the work they did on this movie. He has recently worked in Bosch: Leagacy as Curtis Boseman and I Happens!

His upcoming movies are Sasha Lanes, The Vagrant, and Halfway House.

2. Autumn Sylve As Savannah Sims

Sylve portrayed the lead role of preacher Delmar's daughter Savannah. After her character discovers her dad's cancer, she initially begins to find a way to make money for his treatment. 

As a result, the desperate girl starts working in a club as a dancer to raise funds for the cure. 

In the process, she even shares romantic bonding with the character Carter. 

The actress kicked off her career with the 2017 short movie A State of Living. She recently played in the short film Just the Negatives as Bella.

Her performance was only not loved by the audience but by the cast members and directors.

3. Zephaniah Terry As Tevin Carter

Carter starred as Tevin Carter in this crime drama. His character has a romantic bonding with Savannah, and the love leads him to criminal activities. 

The actor is acknowledged for his appearance in Ruthless, Out on a Lim, and Tough Love: Atlanta. 

His upcoming shows are The Eye of Providence, Treasure Trackers, and Left My Home. 

4. Alisha Ward As Cynthia Parks 

Ward appeared as one of a dancer of the gentlemen club, Cynthia Parks. 

The actress thanked the creators, Louis and Noah, for allowing her to play Cynthia in the movie. She said it was one of the best movies she had ever been in and felt grateful to work with a cast like Terry. 

The Lagrange Georgia-born star starred in pre-production shows, including Pretty Stoned, Complicated: Atlanta, F-Boy Free, and The Lies that Bind Us.

The movie follows the life of a father and daughter who starts dancing in the club secretly after she discovers her father's disease. 

The trailers show Sims killing a man and saying he didn't have to steal from him and wakes up from the dream. 

While working as a preacher, he has a side business that leads to the criminal part, like selling drugs and killing.

When he was diagnosed with cancer, he thought god was punishing him for his wrongdoing. 

As the story follows, he learns from doctor Graham that his cancer is spreading, and he may pass way soon without treatment. 

Savannah, the daughter of the widowed Sims, learns about her dad's disease and the money needed for the remedy. 

As a result, they start finding a way to gather 44 grand. In this process, Savannah started working as a dancer in the exclusive gentlemen's clubs in Atlanta.

She even shares a romantic relationship with Carter.

The movie received an 8.5/10 rating on IMDB per 9 users.

The actor's performance received positive reviews from fans. Even they think Autumn is a captivating actor. 

The movie is available on BET+. It has been streaming on the service since February 27, 2023.
