Elizabeth Tulloch eyes were almost blind before she got an ICL surgery in 2012. The surgery was successful and she has a better vision now.

Besides that, her strabismus has been noticeable as well. Before the surgery, it was not noticeable, which may have been caused by the use of ICL.

Nevertheless, the actress has never talked about the problems. She flaunts it freely, which makes her more attractive too.

Her appearance in Grimm in the first and second seasons looked different because of the surgery.

Her appearance may have changed a bit because of the surgery, but at the same time, her stardom reached a new peak as well- thanks to her character Bitsie in Grimm.

The series started in 2011 and ended in 2017; she had been a part of it from beginning to end.

Elizabeth Tulloch Eyes After ICL Surgery

Elizabeth Tulloch eyes look different after she went through ICL surgery. She had taken five weeks of hiatus between the first and second seasons of filming Grimm to get her eyes fixed.

In an interview with NY Post, she said she was blind that she had an implantable permanent contact lens under her iris. She also shared that it was crazy to be blind all her life and suddenly see things as she woke up.

Many people on social media have commented about her eyes for a long time. When she had the surgery in 2012, she tweeted about removing her ICL after 13 years. Some said that she had strabismus before that.

ICL is an alternative to Lasik surgery. The surgeon implants contact lenses permanently in the eyes during this procedure to improve vision. While the actress never mentioned if she removed ICL or not, she had said there are 99 percent chance that she would remove it.

She did not mention the reason specifically but said that she was almost blind in one eye. While the surgery is done to correct the vision, it is an uncommon side effect that could cause permanent vision loss, writes Healthline.

She also tweeted on the day of her eye surgery, where she talked about getting anesthesia and could not drink or eat because of it.

Elizabeth Transformation After Appearing On Grimm

Elizabeth looks different after her surgery. She said she would remove her ICL, but no one knows what surgery she underwent through.

Her eyes do not look much different from they were before. But, many say that it is hard not to notice when they know that she has strabismus.

Some people were mean to her on networking sites like Reddit, calling her "lazy eyes," but it seems her vision has come back, and she can see things now.

Looking closely, one can feel the difference between her two eyes. Some even said they look different from season one and season two of Grimm, which is true because she had surgery between filming the first and second seasons.

Grimm not only transformed her appearance, but her career set off in a different direction. She was playing Bitsie in the series, and she was known by the same name at one point.

People would call her by that name, and even some of her employers did not know that her real name was Elizabeth. She had shared that she would even introduce herself as Bitsie to most people.

However, that was when she was in her 20s. Once when filling out legal papers, a producer asked her if she would like to keep her name Elizabeth or Bitsie; her agent proposed to use her real name as she was no more a girl in her 20s.

Thus, she decided to use her real name after that for billing purposes, but she still likes the name Bitsie.

She continued her role from beginning to end in Grimm. Following that, she portrayed the role of Lois Lane in The CW Arrowverse crossover events "Elseworlds" in 2018 and "Crisis on Infinite Earths" in 2019.
