Some of the hosts for the show included Casey Hester and Catrina Kidd who appeared in season 4, Paige and Raff who hosted season 6 and Cody and Suzy Slay who starred as hosts for the show in seasons 1 to 3.

The clients meet with their builders and they are provided with all the equipment to build their own tiny houses.

As the client is new to making their own houses, the builder will provide the instruction and follow along through the entire construction process.

The show focuses on the work of five individuals in restoring the cabin, which includes Chase Morrill, Ashely Morrill, Ryan Eldrige, Matt " Dixie" Dix and Jared "Jedi" Baker. 

Chase works as a contractor for the cabins, while his sister Ashley is the designer of the team. Ryan is Ashley's husband and the carpenter of the group. Similar to Ryan, Matt and Jared are also master carpenters.

Using fabrics and materials from old times, they are keeping the appearance of these classic homes as classic as ever but giving them modern and affordable updates making the home comfy and warm staying in the house.

Both have a similar taste in old things which led them to buy and sell old houses that are either in rundown stage or need a really good renovation. 

The pair were inspired for the show when Ethan's popular Instagram feed went popular, racking more than a million views with the image of a surprising property bargain that was intact and available for under $150,000. 

The production team follows in the adventure of the couple as they different low-priced older houses across America and ultimately selects one of the houses to be featured on their show.
