The Roppos never considered being part of reality TV. However, since the show is about bringing siblings together to go on double dates, they thought it could be an adventure of a lifetime.

Corrina and Joey now reside in Los Angeles; they moved to LA from their hometown in Seattle last month to pursue acting. Corrina started singing when she was 12 and auditioned in several singing shows, but luck didn't favour her. So now, Corrina will be self-publishing her album. As a musician, she has performed in several schools and community theatres.

In a phone interview with the Seattle Times after starring in the 10th episode, Corrina said going into the show, she thought Joey was her best friend and didn't think she could get any closer to her sibling; she realized she was wrong. 

Monroe's Snohomish County girl, Corrina, was cast for Dated and Related in the spring of 2021 as the casting director saw her Tik Tok dance video. The directors were impressed by her video and profile; now, she is a rising TV star. It started with the hashtag #siblings, through which the casting personnel found her and reached out to her on Instagram.

After the show airs on Netflix, Corrina hopes to make a career in the entertainment industry; she never thought she would make this choice if asked a year ago. In the interview, she mentioned she has been working on songs for a few years now, and she and her brother have also taken acting classes for a better career in the entertainment world.
