She is a fashion designer from Austin, Texas. She is the CEO and creative director of her brand Brittany-Nicole.
Since her childhood, fashion has been a part of her life. However, she changed her major to fashion in college.
In 2017, she joined the University of Arkansas, majoring in nursing. However, she failed, and the counselor asked her to choose a different career.
As a result, she headed to Savannah College of Art and Design to study fashion design.
The designer interned at ASSA Fashion Show, Betsey Johnson, and ASSA Fashion Show.
She also studied Doctor of Philosophy in Design at Lowa State University.
Before her college life, she used to work as an administrative assistant at Sebastian County Retirement Center.
Besides this, she served as a sales associate, domestic production intern, lead product designer, product photography stylist, and more.
In 2019, she auditioned for the reality tv show Project Runway Season 18. On June 15, 2023, she returned for the 20th season of the show.

Brittany Allen Project Runway weight loss of 22 pounds happened during her time on the show in 2019. Allen was 155 pounds in season 17.
Since high school, she could not find anything that fit her. While filming the show, the designer was 150 to 155 pounds.
During the interview with Sarah Scoop on her show The Sarah Scoop Show, Allen said from episode 1 to episode 12, there was a 22-pound difference.
When she joined the show, she was too focused on her work that she didn't even notice skipping lunch.
She was not intentionally not eating, but it was something she was so concentrating on what she was making.
The designer used to have protein shakes to keep up working. She added When she was so attentive and wanted something so bad; she wasn't starving.
After the show, she ate everything because she didn't eat a lot on the show.
Besides this, on the podcast The Blind Leap season 3, episode 8, Allen mentioned she was 130 pounds on October 17, 2022.
During the pandemic, she reached a pick of 180. At that time, she drank much alcohol with her husband, Derek Allen.
When Derek was out of time once, she got busy with work and started drinking protein shakes instead of wine.
The fashion designer spent two weeks without drinking, which made her lean, and she started loving her body.
As a result, she started caring for her body and even decided not to drink at home.
From August 2021, she started taking strength classes five days a week. She used to do 1 or 2 rides a week.
At last, she lost 50 pounds in a short period, and she was 130 pounds in October 2022.
Brittany Had A Stroke On A Plane
Brittany Allen had a stroke on a plane at a young age. She was only 29 at that time.
The designer was headed from Los Angeles to Austin in an airplane. She had a stroke in 2019 and couldn't walk off the plane.
Out of nowhere, it happened mid-fight, and it was unexpected as she was very healthy in her 20s.
After two hours, the plane landed; she tried to get off after everyone left but could not balance herself, and the pilot called 911.
When the pediatrician mentioned she was having panic attacks, she believed it was more serious than that.
She woke up the next day after coming to the hospital and learned about her stroke.
Project Runway All-Star competitor used to work out two to three days a week and has no underlying conditions, so she felt it crazy that something like that happened to her.
As she mentioned on The Blind Leap podcast, She was fully paralyzed on the right side of her body.
Days after that, her husband dropped a penny, and she went down to pick it up and couldn't use her hand to pick it up.
Her hands didn't move, and she felt sorry for herself for about a week.
She couldn't climb the stairs, write her name, pick up a fork, or even smile because the right side of her face didn't exactly function like it used to.
She used to sleep a lot and wondered what she gonna do in her life.
Back and forth, they call doctors, trying to get in to see what happened to get to the deeper root of it.
The hospital suggests taking a six to eight-month appointment with her neurologist.
However, she can't wait that long and decides it's not going to be her life as she has worked so hard for this.
It was the time when she applied for two different shows, including Project Runway, but she hadn't gotten any interviews to get back to the finals.
She used to do physical therapy 10 hours a day. Jess King and John Michael Di Spirito helped her make a full recovery.
After rehab, she fully recovered in six weeks. It changed her life for the better.
This put her back in a place where it made her appreciate every little thing in her life.
After she shared her story with people, she found it common, and it could happen to young people.

Brittany Allen Peloton exercise began in 2017, and her diet routine after the pandemic. Brittany was not a big workout person but brought a Peleton bike in 2017.

After the pandemic, she started caring for her body and improving her diet routine.
She also works out two to three days a week. Five days a week, she goes to strength classes.
