Though Bianca was born in Mississauga, Ontario, her parents are Romanian. Her parents migrated to in 1994 after her father accepted an engineering job in Ontario.

Both of her parents are college graduates.

Her parents moved back to Romania in 2006 where Bianca started playing tennis. She began playing tennis at the age of 7.

During her early years, her father’s friend stayed as her coach.

However, after a few years, the Andreescu family relocated to Canada.
