He has been portrayed at various weights throughout the series due to his severe bouts of body dysmorphia; before the start of Season 7, he gained 60 pounds and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, when he finally returned to a healthy weight in the following season.

He admitted he misses being fat because he thought being fat made him seem "scary" to others. It rapidly becomes clear that his motivation for taking on this shape was to win the approval of the other Gang members.

In real life, the actor's diet plan is extremely distinctive because he purposefully aimed to gain 60 pounds for comic effect. He had four 1,000-calorie meals a day to gain that weight. He relied on McDonald's to get all those calories into his body, living up to his hacker nickname Big Mac.

Rob discovered that consuming fewer calories each day than he was burning was the key to eliminating his extra weight. During his cutting phase, he consumed a diet high in protein, low in medium-chain carbohydrates, and low in fat.

On the other hand, Artemis never shared her journey with the public. She did everything on her own and did not mention the intent behind choosing the particular path.
