The reason for her weight loss and sickness in her 30s was her drinking problem, but she recovered after quitting drinking and lived a healthy life until 2001. 

In 2001, she was diagnosed with skin cancer but got treatment. She underwent surgery to get rid of her cancer and with a bit of luck, she made a full recovery shortly.

Anne Robinson is retiring from Countdown according to OnTrend. 

Robinson, a professional journalist and television presenter, has announced her departure from the countdown news channel, a British game program featuring word and numerical challenges.

She had a joy presenting this excellent show, according to her statement, and she signed a one-year deal with this new station, but she worked longer there.

Anne has not provided details about her departure from the show yet but she might have made up her mind about retirement and could want to take her time off and enjoy herself.
