Angela Piper is leaving The Acrhers beacuse she suffered from a stroke. She has appeared in the series for the past 60 years.

On January 15, The Cider Shed Team posted the episode Erik: Idol, where Keri and Matthew talked about Peter, Jakob, Kristy, Erik, Jim, Justin, and Jennifer.

They have already given a heads-up about the actress quitting the show due to her illness. 

Keri talked about how they would deal with her as she would not return to the show. Even they said they had remained tight-lipped about the matter. They have already disclosed her health condition, but they don't want to make a gear change for the audience. 

Afterward, they were worried about what will they do with Robert. Because of these two things, they are having some strange filler with the late episode as they prepare in advance. Keri said it would be tricky for the scriptwriter to deal with the recent issues.

However, the writer has scripted well in the new episode with the shocking news. They ended the role of Piper with her demise due to a heart problem.

The Cider Shed podcast mentioned her stroke. Even they commented her presence will be missed in the show after they tweeted, 'Jenny's collapsed in Warwick.'

According to The Archers podcast, the actress has been ill for a while. Although fans were aware that Piper was not well, the last night's episode was still a bit of a shock for them.  

Fans felt sad she had to be killed off and hoped the actress would get well enough to return to the series. Also, they want her to enjoy her retirement from the show.

Jennifer Aldridge passed away on the new episode of The Archers after having a heart attack on January 22, 2023. 

Brian chatted with his friend Justin Elliot about Farm House business and thought he should get going after Alice called him. Afterward, Adam and Alice started setting plates for him. 

Brian called Adam and mentioned Jennifer collapsed when Alice and Adam were excited to prepare the room for him. Alice thought he had an anginal attack, but the character tells about her mom, and they rushed her to the hospital. 

Her sister Lilian was crying and said she was lying, and they could do nothing about it as she couldn't breathe and grasp. Even though they tried to give her oxygen, nothing worked on her.  

As a result, Brian convinced Lily everything would be okay as the doctor would provide the best possible cure for her.

According to the doctor, she tumbled due to the pressure in her heart. It led to her lungs filling with fluid. 

After some period, Brian comes with the devasting news that the doctor tried everything they could for her. However, it was her heart that was not strong enough. He said Kate, her mother, and his wife, Jenny, were gone. 

She passed away due to a heart problem in the show. Nonetheless, the actress suffered from a brain attack in real. It happens when blood can not supply to the brain or the bursting of blood vessels.

The English actress is best known for her role in the BBC radio drama The Archers as Jennifer Aldridge. She occurred in the show since 1963, which resulted in her contribution to the show for almost 60 years.

However, the characters departed from the show in 2023. 

The actress mentioned her character is a capable, family-oriented, caring, and intelligent woman. The program website described Jennifer as someone who loved bragging about her kid's successes. 

She appeared as the second-longest-running star on the show. The fictional character played in the series in 1951. However, the actress played the role after 12 years in June 1963 in her mid-20s after being portrayed by numerous child actresses. 

In the beginning, her role was minor. However, she became the front burner in the 1960s. In the show, Aldridge is the daughter of Jack Archer and Peggy Woolley. She had four children, Adam Macy, Debbie Aldridge, Kate Aldridge, and Alice Carter.

She dated Max and Roger Patillo at a young age. She even worked at Allerton Primary School when she qualified as a teacher. Besides, she succeeded as a writer. 

She is a significant character in the soap opera where she occurred in high profile and controversial stories. She arose in the family drama flourishing her relationship with her husband, Brian Aldrige.
