Lalani Erika and Arriani Jaileen Arroyo, young girls were found dead after trying TikTok's viral trend 'Blackout Challenge.' Know more about the wrongful death of these young girls.

According to People, this 'blackout challenge' was introduced in 2008 but it started going viral on Tiktok in 2021. This challenge has led to more than 80 deaths till now and yet again two new cases are making the headlines.

'Blackout Challenge' means 'choking or passing out challenge' that makes people hold their breath until they pass out due to lack of oxygen.

What Happened To Lalani Erika And Arriani Jaileen Arroyo?

Lalani Erika and Arriani Jaileen Arroyo were found dead after trying Tiktok's new trend 'blackout challenge' where they were challenging themselves of choking which result in their death. They were trying the trend to become TikTok famous.

After the wrongful death of the young girls, the lawsuit has been filed on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court against Tiktok. After which Tiktok fed both the young girls videos associated with a viral trend named 'blackout challenge' in which they were trying to choke themselves into unconsciousness, the cases allege; that both young girls die after trying to join in.

Tiktok, a very popular app that has its US headquarters in Culver City turns out to be a defective app. It says the Social Media Victims Law Center, the law firm which is behind the suits and a self-described 'legal resource for parents of children harmed by social media.'

The death cause of young girls, Lalani Erika and Arriani Jaileen Arroyo was caused by the viral TikTok trend going on named 'blackout challenge' where they pass out due to lack of oxygen,

The young girls tried out the dangerous trend to become Tiktok famous as these days it's every people's dream to become famous.

Tiktok being a very popular and famous app, the young girls without the knowledge of the result tried out the challenge in the mentality of being famous there.

Lalani Erika And Arriani Jaileen Arroyo Age?

8-years-old Lalani Erika and 9-years-old Arriani Jaileen Arroyo wanted to become famous on Tiktok with the trends going viral nowadays. But instead, they were found dead.

The young girls were of the belief that after posting the video of the 'blackout challenge' they would get famous in no time. 

They didn't understand the dangerous nature of the trend going on and tried out which caused the young girls wrongful death.

The TikTokers Parents

Lalani Erika was from Texas and an avid Tiktoker. She used to post videos of herself dancing and lip-syncing on TikTok in hopes of getting viral someday.

In July 2021, videos start getting viral about the 'blackout challenge' which she started trying out. Midway through that month, she told her family that the bruises around her neck were caused due falls and didn't mention the trend going on. Soon after while on a 20-hour ride with her stepmother watching, they found out about the trend.

After she reached home, her mother told her that the two can go swimming, and then they took a short nap. But soon after her mother went to her room she saw that Lalani was hanging in her bed with a rope around her neck.

 Her mother told the police that she used to watch the trend on repeat on her tablet and phone.
