He took a position as a commodity trader for Continental Grain Co. in Minneapolis after receiving his dual degree in 1981, believing he'd try a business for a while before following in his father's footsteps as a teacher/coach.

Jim Waugh, his father, was an English teacher at Groton School in Massachusetts and Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. Seth revealed that he taught in a Socratic manner, in which the students, often of themselves, became the teachers.

He considers his father to be his hero and role model because of the number of lives he has inspired and improved.

Seth's mother was a well-known naturalist teacher specializing in bugs and birds.

Seth Waugh is a successful American businessman with an estimated net worth of $80 million. 

The former CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas is credited with helping the bank expand in the United States. On his journey to becoming the CEO of Deutsche Bank Americas, he held a variety of positions.

His most prominent positions include directing the Corporate Bond and International Trading floors at Salomon Brothers, an 11-year stay in the Fixed Income Division at Merrill Lynch in various capacities, and serving as CEO of Quantitative Financial Strategies (QFS).

Jane Waugh, Seth Waugh's wife, is an American artist who attributes her success to a lifelong love of art and architecture, a strong faith, and a complete lack of knowledge.
