Roberto was born to his father, Joaquin Bautista, and his mother, Eser Agut.

Joaquin was a former football player and banker who died in November 2019 during the Davis Cup campaign.

Similarly, Roberto’s mother, Ester, operated a clothes boutique in Castellón de la Plana. She died unexpectedly in May 2018.
