He is a former MLB outfielder from the United States who played for the Cincinnati Reds in 2003. He is currently the Toronto Blue Jays' first base coach.

He has had an acumen for baseball since his college days at the University of Richmond and played collegiate summer baseball with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

During his 11-year career as a professional athlete, Budzinski played outfield for the Kinston Indians in the Carolina League in 1997.

Budzinski made his Major League debut with the Cincinnati Reds on August 3, 2003, after spending time in the systems of the Indians, Cubs, and Brewers.

After retiring in 2005, Budzinski relocated to Richmond, Virginia, and started a real estate business.
