Jenny Marrs turned her parents, Steve and John Smith, a house into a modern house in 2021. Their daughter helped them renovate the property. 

After the renovation, they felt surprised as the property was more beautiful than they thought. They loved all the decorations without changing much in the structure. Steve mentioned she never believed they could do it.

Before the renovation, Marrs's parents celebrated their 45th anniversary in 2021. The couple mentioned they had four children and then grandchildren. They are from Florida, and they had lived in the house their whole life.

Previously, Marrs father had cancer, and he had no hope for life. However, he recovered from it and began his new life. When they looked at the house, they felt good about it.

According to John, the 90s home looked dated. They dreamed to had a home for their grandkids and children to have family time. As a result, they want to do it and were excited about the renovation. They wanted to make the house comfortable for people of all ages.

They started by taking out the cabinets in the kitchen. They even invented a coffee bar and wine bar in the home. For the wine, they wanted funky storage. At last, they loved the renovation and home decoration.

Jenny Marrs and her parents are from Florida. They reluctantly had to leave to go home. After they brought a home in Arkansas, they didn't have to travel. They had traveled forth and back for 16 years, and finally, they were in NW Arkansas. 

According to Marrs, the renovation was amazing, but having her parents here is the best. Even they captured the journey of her parent's new home on camera. Jenny mentioned her grandkids could also see the legacy of her mom and dad.

Previously, Jenny's parents had driven overnight to be with her in her first labor. After the birth of the twin child, they again flew to Branson and then rode in a flurry. When Charlotte scheduled a c-section, they flew in at night and watched the twins. 

They even drove 17 hours to meet their eldest granddaughter Sylvie after she was allowed to leave her home country. When they had Luke, her parents spent a week with them. 

Dave and Jenny have been married for almost 12 years and have five children. The couple had struggled with infertility for years and decided to start the adoption process in 2008. Later, Jenny discovered she was pregnant with Nathan and Ben in 2009.

She had been air-lifted to Little Rock after she had preterm labor with her twin kids. The interior design expert parents drove overnight to be with her at the hospital.

After a month, she had a baby, and her family flew to Branson to meet their grandchild. During the birth of twins, she had been in the hospital alongside her parents.

After two years, the couple decided to adopt a baby and adopted Sylvie from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2013. Nonetheless, they could not bring her due to the shutdown of the Congolese government.

The couple had another baby Charlotte. When their fourth child was eight weeks old, they got 24 hours' notice that Sylvie could leave her home country. As a result, Marrs parents drove 17 hours to meet their granddaughter. When the HGTV series premiered in 2019, the couple had their youngest son Luke.
