No Austin is not related to Elvis Presley at all in real life and it was just his flawless performance that blurred their distinction. 

It was Butler's major breakthrough and an honor to portray the legendary singer Elvis Presley in his biopic. Presley is one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century and a Guinness World Records holder as the best-selling solo music artist of all time. 

The movie was intended to tell the story of the singer who died at the age of 42 from the perspective of his manager Colonel Tom Parker.

The young actor Austin has been phenomenal in this movie and made people forget it wasn't Elvis. His bloated face during the Unchained Melody scene looks exact replica of real-life Elvis.

Butler even sang a few songs in the movie. Although no one can ever match the aura of the King, the actor's voice blended well in songs like Trouble, Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, etc as per the reports from Elite Daily.

Born in California, Austin was very close to his parents- especially his mother. 

The Disney star was born to David Butler and Lori Anne Howell on August 17, 1991. His parents got separated when he was seven. His mother was an aesthetician who died of cancer in 2014. 

Austin grew up with his older sister Ashley who was the background actor in the sitcom Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Their grandparents Mike and Linda Butler were also Americans. 

Apart from acting, Butler also loves singing. He knows how to play guitar and piano. He stepped into showbiz at the age of 13. He has starred in Nickelodeon's Hannah Montana alongside Miley Cyrus. 

Austin has won the heart of millions of people from his appearance in many teen dramas and sitcoms. 

The singer and actor took acting classes during his childhood. He starred in the lead in the drama series Zoey 101. He was known as a Nickelodeon and Disney face before he landed in The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles. 

He has also made his Broadway debut with The Iceman Cometh where he played the role of the lost boy Don Parritt. The brilliant actor has also made a short yet impressive appearance in the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. 

Austin will be seen as Feyd-Rutha in the upcoming science-fiction film Dune: Part Two.

Recently he made his debut at the Met Gala 2022 where he was seen wearing the Elvis decorative aesthetics by Prada.  

Butler came into the sparks of media via his relationship with actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens. They were in a relationship for over nine years but broke up in 2020. He is currently dating Kaia Gerber.
