Harry Gration remains absent from TV after suffering from an illness and passed away on June 24 at aged 71. Moreover,r the 71-year-old was seen at a public event a few days ago. 

Harry Gration spent over four decades of his life in journalism. He was a TV presenter for BBC Look North for the Yorkshire region but retired in 2020. Following his retirement, there are all kinds of circulating about him time and again. The recent one is about his death.

Harry Gration retired from BBC on October 13, 2020. He made his last appearance on the show on October 21, 2020, a day before his 70th birthday.

BBC ocnfirmed the news in a recent facebok post indicating obituary from wife Helen and family. 

Since his retirement, his appearance in the media has decreased, making some people wonder if he is alright. As a result of less public interaction, news about him is circulating on the social network. 

 

 

Moreover, he recently made an appearance at the launch of The Clifford Champion Beer Festival. It is dated to take place on Saturday, June 25, in the village hall and large family-oriented grounds in Clifford. Former Calendar host Christine Talbot was also there for the launch along with Harry. 

Likewise, Ben and Victoria Furnell from key sponsor Furnell Residential, the Bardsey-based estate brokerage and brewery founder Steve Holt's company, joined Harry and Christine for the launch at Kirkstall Brewery in Leeds. Their company is sponsoring the glasses.

Tim Downes and Andy Poulter, the team in charge of choosing all the beers served at the festival, joined them. This includes a Pale Ale from the Kirkstall Brewery called "Kirkstall News Headlines" in honor of Harry and Christine.

How Is BBC Journalist Harry Gration Health Condition?

BBC journalist Harry Gration had mentioned an illness. Following his announcement about his retirement, he shared that he was hospitalized during the summer of that year.

His family took him to St. James' Hospital in Leeds because of an unexplained medical issue. However, it was confirmed that it was not a covid-related issue, although it is said to be pneumonia.

Has Harry Gration Illness Been Treated?

Harry Gration had once hospitalized for pneumonia when he was staying home during the pandemic. However, the illness was not caused by covid but was an unidentified reason. 

He had recovered from it and even joined the work on the day he was discharged from the hospital. Because of his dedication to his work, everyone admired him. 

Even after retirement, he has never stopped working. He became the vice-president of The Yorkshire Society, a not-for-profit organization promoting all things in Yorkshire.
