Michael Symon | Biography

The hot and talented celebrity chef and a television personality is no other than Michael Symon is well known name in the small screen and the culinary industry. He has been famed to the celebrity status from her appearance in the Food Network series of Iron Chef America, Food Feuds and The Best Thing I Ever Ate to name the few. He is an acclaimed author and a restaurateur. His bold and well built physique and talented presentation of cooking skills is well appreciated and praised by the audience. He has been honored as the hottest chef of Cleveland by The Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine in 1995.

 

He felt the first verse of life from Cleveland, Ohio of the United States of America in September 19, 1969. His ethnicity and ancestors belong to several region of the world. He was a student in St. Richard School located in North Olmsted ass well as St. Edward High School based in Lakewood. He completed his graduation in 1987. He used to play wrestling but due to an injury he had to leave the profession and indulged himself in art of cooking. He also did a graduation from the Culinary Institute of America Situated in Hyde Park of the Ney York City.

 

He started off as a worker in a small level of restaurants, until in February 1997 he met his love of life Liz Shanahan and teamed up to open a restaurant named Lola in the Tremont Neighbor. The sophisticated and trending neighbor had its competitive terms and initiations. However, the determined duo was well settled at the place. The restaurant had high acclaims and fare reviews and had heir fame up growth. The restaurant was also named as America’s Best Restaurant by the Gourmet magazine. He moved his well reputed restaurant to Cleveland and the place in Tremont was named Lolita. His hardworking nature and dedication towards restaurants management made him open a third restaurant in the New York City named Parea. Though the people of New York did not appreciate the food of the restaurant but Andrew did a lot of adjustments to prove himself and his reputed fame and the restaurant got listed in Food & Wine Magazine illustration of 100 Tastes to Try in. he then went on to inaugurate Roast, the restaurant based in Detroit under the province of Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in 2008. It eventually garnered a high perspective and was name the Restaurant of the Year by the Detroit media. Another restaurant named Bar Symon was opened in Avon Lake, Ohio in July 1 2009. The long branches of restaurant franchise in his name made him successful financially and set up a high net worth. He opened several branches through out the American States and kept up his franchise running.

 

His first onscreen appearance was for Food Network’s video game promotion. Then the hot and talented chef turned into the big projects and casted himself in many of the network’s series. It was the hit food series, Iron Chef America premiered in 2005 that prompted him the status of celebrity chef.hje also appeared in Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations in August of 2007, Dinner: impossible in April of 2008 and The Best Thing I Ever Ate in November of 2008. Apart from it he got featured in Cook Like an Iron Chef in July of 2010 broadcasted by the Cooking Channel, Food Feuds in October of 2010 and a talk show for the ABC network named The Chew in September of 2011.

 

His television presentation did him fortunes and apart from it he has several cookbooks written namely The Soul of a Chef: The Journey Toward Perfection, Michael Symon’s Love to Cook: Recipes and Techniques to Rock Your Kitchen, The Chew: Food,  Life. Fun to name the few He also has e-books and other accords in his name.

 

Michael Symon has been married and has a stepson from his wife, Liz Shanahan who is also a co-creator of his restaurant franchise. He was speculated to be a gay as every handsome guy is assumed to be but it was all fake and is of no reality. In his career he has been acclaimed and honored by several awards and honors.
